On Tuesday 28 January, the Parliament's Intergroup on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development, chaired by Struan, hosted a conference called 'Water and Energy as Instruments for Peace'. Its purpose was to discuss how mutually fair and advantageous cooperation on water issues could aid in the peaceable economic and strategic development of nations in the Central Asian region.
