SPEECH TO ARAB ISLAMIC CONFERENCE

PARIS

2 JULY 2017

General George S. Patton once said: “Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.”Well, my brothers and sisters in this great family of the Iranian resistance, we have accepted the challenges and we have felt the exhilaration of victory. We were told that we would never be able to remove the PMOI from the international terrorists blacklists. Well, we accepted that challenge and we won a great victory. We were told that we would never be able to rescue all of our brothers and sisters from Camp Liberty. Well we accepted that challenge and we won a great victory. Now they try to tell us that we will never defeat the mullahs. Well we accept that challenge and we WILL win a great victory.

We surely have an ally now in the White House? President Trump has identified the Iranian regime as the world’s main sponsor of terror. He says the nuclear deal with Iran was a big mistake. He has condemned the theocratic fascist regime for supporting Assad in Syria, the brutal Shi’ite militias in Iraq, the vicious Houthi rebels in Yemen and the terrorist Hezbollah in Lebanon. He has pointed out that the IRGC and their extra-territorial wing the Qods Force are behind every conflict in the Middle East.

So let’s send a message of support to President Trump. Let’s tell him that the best way to show the mullahs that American policy has changed is to invite Mrs Rajavi to come to Washington in person. Let the American people hear this courageous Leader of the Iranian Opposition explain why there can be a better future for the 80 million Iranian people. A future based on freedom, justice, democracy and human rights and an end to torture, executions, repression and the threat of nuclear war.

Brothers and Sisters, we have won many great victories in our struggle for freedom. But the greatest challenge is still to come. The challenge of regime change in Iran is one that we accept and dedicate ourselves to achieve. And when we chase the turbaned tyrants out of Tehran, great will be the exhilaration of victory.
