Scottish Food & Drink

In association with other Scottish MEPs, Struan successfully campaigned to have Scotch Whisky sold in all European Parliament kiosks and shops with a special EP label.

Struan is the shadow rapporteur on the food information proposal, supporting providing consumers with full information about what they eat and drink.

He is also a member of the Parliament’s Spirits intergroup.

He is renowned in Brussels for organising the annual European Parliamentary Burns Supper, featuring Scottish singers, musicians, poets and speakers, with all proceeds going to charity each year.
