Vietnamese Pangasius
How many tonnes of pangasius fish were imported into the EU from Vietnam during 2009? Who was the main supplier of this fish? How many times in 2010 did Commission inspectors visit pangasius fish farms and processors in Vietnam? Which fish farms and processors did they visit? Did any of the visits result in import licences being revoked or in demands for improvements to the fish farmers or processors involved? Were any samples of Vietnamese pangasius analysed over the past 5 years found to contain heavy metals, dioxins, PCBs or even arsenic?
