Struan Stevenson speaks to Al-Hurrah TV
An Iraqi parliamentary delegation in Brussels has had talks in the European Parliament on the upcoming parliamentary election in Iraq. The Iraqi delegation has invited the European Parliament to go to Iraq and monitor the parliamentary elections from up close. The other purpose of this Iraqi delegation was to attend a meeting for the Iraqi Relations Committee in the European Parliament in Brussels.
Report: the Iraqi delegation headed by Sheikh Khaled al-Atieh, the first deputy of the head of the parliament, held talks in Brussels in the European Parliament on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iraq.
Struan Stevenson said that he hoped that he could go to Iraq between the 15th and 20th of February at the head of a European parliamentary delegation to be informed on the preparations for the elections before the elections.
