New website highlights role of Scottish MEP
Scottish Conservative Euro MP, Struan Stevenson has announced the launch of his new website. In preparation for the MEP elections in June 2009, the website has been designed to show clearly the role of the local MEP, what the MEP stands for within the context of the workings of the European Parliament.
Ensuring the website is more accessible to the reader, has been fundamental to the development of the new site. This includes a list of FAQs with links to a number of related sites, such as the European Parliament, to make certain the reader has full access to all information regarding Europe and EU institutions.
The website (struanstevenson.com) has been designed by Line, the interactive communications agency.
Struan Stevenson said:
“This is a live site and provides an opportunity to see the campaigns that I, a Scottish MEP, have recently been involved in, for the social, cultural and economic benefits of Scotland.”
Struan concluded:
“We work for the people and therefore we need to be accessible to the people. They need to know who we are and what we do for them. This website aims to achieve this.”
