MEPs call for action to prevent deaths of 3 million Romanian dogs

Struan Stevenson MEP is one of a group of MEPs who have co-signed a letter to the European Commission to call for action to oppose a new law in Romania that will allow local authorities to kill stray dogs.

This law would cause 3 million dogs to be become outlawed, meaning they will be cruelly killed.
