MEP launches Scottish Sausage Week
Struan Stevenson MEP today (Monday 27th October) launched Scottish Sausage Week at Crombies in Edinburgh.
Mr Stevenson MEP met with one of Edinburgh’s best loved butchers to sample some award winning sausages, meet the customers and launch Scottish Sausage Week 2008.
Mr Stevenson said:
“I’m very happy to be here today to launch Scottish Sausage Week and these sausages are delicious!
“We have wonderful produce in Scotland that we should be proud of and I am pleased to support Quality Meat Scotland and the Scottish Butchers Association to promote Scottish Sausage Week.”
